Respiratory System
All organisms that have lungs rely on oxygen in order to survive. Moreover, oxygen is the basic necessity for organisms with lungs because it factors cellular respiration, the process which generates an organisms’ energy. When taking in oxygen, and then releasing the C02, organisms interact with their environment. The leopard frog has many ways to breathe while developing into an adult frog
Cellular Respiration/ ATP
Cellular Respiration involves the breakdown of organic molecules to produce ATP. This process in turn provides frog cells with the energy they rely on in order to work. The cellular respiration process in which glucose is used to make ATP. The ATP is produced in the mitochondria using energy stored in food.
In the mitochondria can convert a single molecule of glucose into as many molecules of ATP. This conversion of one large molecule into many smaller molecules allows cells to packl out the energy they take in.
